The COSC has many resources for counseling soldiers. Our unit is comprised of phycologists, social workers, occupational therapists, behavioral health tech's (peer to peer support) and a Chaplain team. The COSC's providers have limited confidentiality when it comes to counseling soldiers. However, the Chaplain team is able to provide completely confidential counseling. 

The program provides structured, adaptive reconditioning activities that promote physical, emotional, and mental recovery. For COSC units, WRP offers a way to help soldiers dealing with combat stress reactions, mild traumatic brain injuries (mTBI), post-traumatic stress, or other stress-related issues reintegrate into their units or transition to other roles or services.

The essence of Forging Iron Teams lies in empowering soldiers at the unit level—raising awareness and equipping them with practical, command-driven solutions that foster a psychologically healthy, mission-ready force.

is a structured process designed to help soldiers and units recover from traumatic incidents such as combat losses, accidents, suicides, or mass casualty events. It is part of the larger Combat and Operational Stress Control (COSC) system and aims to promote psychological resilience, prevent long-term mental health issues, and maintain operational readiness.
